Travel for cheap in Tanzania.

"I can't travel its so expensive", I can't count how many times I have heard that." I would rather save that money for a house or fees" they say. Its no secret that travelling can be expensive but it doesn't have to be. If you have been travelling for a while then you will know that you could have saved a lot from your first trip that you made if you knew the ways and tricks to go about it.

Travel in a group
Travelling in a group in much cheaper because you share the cost among yourselves. It is also much fun because you will be surrounded by like minded people and get a chance to network. The more the merrier right! Its also easy to negotiate for a better price when your in a large group. Check out my previous post where I talk about group travels.


Look for less visited sites
Don't let the name less visited fool you. You will be surprised that you will enjoy more when you go to there than going to the famous attractions. You will also get the great services you need because the places is not crowded with visitors. Frequently visited places tend to have high entrance fees while you might get away with not paying entrance fee or pay a small amount in the less visited sites. I am sure that will help in saving you a lot of cash.

Use public transport
You might be tempted to take that taxi since your on holiday but using public transport is way cheaper and very adventurous. Travelling is all about the adventures and memories created along the way so don't miss out on this.

Use hostel or camping
We have a lot of pretty decent hostels out there that will make your night a worthwhile. Some of then have a kitchenette where you can cook your own meals save the money for eating out. Camping can be overwhelming but it is very comfortable and makes you connect with nature while you sleep how awesome is that. Next time you hear of camping just grab the chance.


Eat at local restaurants
When you visit new places you will learn new cultures and what a better way than tasting their local food. You will be amazed at the different cuisines that are out there and how tasty they are. Just don't compromise your hygiene for cheap we still want you to enjoy yourself in good health.

Use a local guide
Using local guide is cheaper to professional guide and they also know the ways of taking you to the most exciting places you can think of. With local guide its easy to spin off from you itinerary so as to spend that extra hour exploring because they are not bound to companies regulations and rules.

Take advantage of low season
During low season many places reduces their price because they have less visitors. Why not take advantage of this. Have a luxurious trip for cheap who would want that? I would so should you and enjoy yourself in that dream hotel you have been dreaming about.

Go for a hike or walking safaris
Walking safaris and hiking both will take you out to the nature and let you explore nature front seat. Not only the view of nature that will wow you but also the wild animals that you will see at a close distance than you can ever imagine. Here all your instincts will be alert and your adrenaline up. For those weight watcher this is perfect because you continue to burn those calories even on vacation.

Utilize the happy hours
Who doesn't like a happy hour hmm! None. That's right everybody loves happy hours so don't let them pass you by. After along day out there, surely you need a drink later to unwind and relax and this is the perfect time to save on those drinks.
